Hi,
i have the following problem: I have recorded mpeg1 files with my Hauppage WinTV PVR and i want to convert them now to vcd. However, they are incompatible. As i tried to convert them, i couldnt get them to work with TMPGEnc nor with VirtualDub. TMPEG crashes each time whenever i press start without any error message and VD gives the error message "Unexpected end of file" or "illegal stream". I have now tried to fix this by running the file through MPEG Corrector, which should fix the headers. However it still isnt working. When it try to convert the corrected file with TMPEG (by using Simple Multiplex) it says "Illegal MPEG video stream", so i guess letting the file through the MPEG corrector isnt of any use. BTW im running Win2k. If anyone knows anything about this problem i would really appreciate any help, also how to avaoid this problem from the beginning, ie how to record valid vcd files with the WinTV PVR. Thx
nothingnet
