I'm just about to do some archival burning and with imgburn 2.5.2 I just noticed at the bottom of the window it has this saying:
"Stop trying to hit me and hit me"
Clearly that is from the first Matrix movie when Neo and Morpheus are in the "dojo" doing their kungfu training.
So my question is have there always been these quotes in Imgburn? Are they just from Matrix? Do they have other movies quoted?
I don't use imgburn every day but it is the only dvd burning program I use. I can't believe I haven't noticed that before. Pretty neat
Edit - ok I just restarted imgburn and its a new quote:
Its the eye of the tiger its the cream of the fight
Obviously the first part is rocky 4 but I don't know what the second half is from.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Probably never noticed them since I do not use the Ez-mode.
Currently mine shows "Houston, we have a problem" - Version 2.4
the previous boot showed "If you are here.... who is running hell?" -
The original lyrics to Eye of the Tiger were:
"It's the eye of the tiger it's the cream of the fight"
For the Rocky IV soundtrack they were changed to:
"It's the eye of the tiger it's the thrill of the fight"

Cool. THanks for the info."drjtech"]The original lyrics to Eye of the Tiger were:

I guess thats the mode I use. It does what I need it to.Originally Posted by db83Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
The quotes have been there for at least a year. We use Imgburn at church and I had to turn them off because our secretary found some of them offensive. That was over a year ago.

That's funny. Heck I've never really noticed them until you posted it.
Oompha loompha LOL
BTW, the option to turn them off came in 2008, so that would suggest they were in there prior to 2008.Last edited by stiltman; 4th Sep 2012 at 17:33.

Obviously I never had either. I just happened to be burning about a dozen or so discs the other day and I finally noticed the Matrix quote.Originally Posted by stiltman

I have always noticed that ImgBurn has always showed or displayed some weird quote from somewhere or some movie.
I can't believe that other people never noticed it!!
LOL!!
I remember the first time I ever used it when it was first out, I was like, WTF!!!!!
LOL!!
And they are not all from the Matrix, but from all kinds of movies!!
I have not payed any attention to them in forever....
But now that I started it up, it said "Autobots, transform and roll out!"
LOL!!! -
Yep well it happens...Originally Posted by noahtuck

Now I have to go watch one of my cartoons or one of the movies (I have the 4 of them - the 86 movie and the three michael bay movies - yeah I know they aren't really 'cannon' and don't do justice to G1 but they are still great action flicks - plus you have peter cullen - I still remember watching the first one in the theater and was like woah this is totally awesome when he first speaks in the intro of the movie - I was 8 years old again (g1 babyOriginally Posted by noahtuck

Seeing that Transformers reference and just watching the newest transformers movie not long ago, I now have the urge to get them all on Bluray and watch them all from the first movie!!
The CGI movies not the cartoons
LOL!!! -
Already beat you to it I have all 3 on bluray. I had the first one on hddvd but finally got the two disc bluray. I now only have two hddvds that I don't have on bluray - Superman Returns and Harry Potter 1. I'm not too much in a hurry to get either on bluray but I'm happy to have the rest on bluray now (especially the matrix trilogy and transformers 1).Originally Posted by "noahtuck"
By the way when you say cgi not cartoon I assume you mean the michael bay ahem, "live action", movies not any of those beastwars cgi ones right? Or those newer energon ones that came out a few years ago?
Like I said I don't agree with the direction they took for the michael bay movies but from a plain action standpoint its tough to beat. Plus the robots in hd are just eye dropping beautiful in clarity and detail.. Plus loud as hell!
