  1. Boy do I have a lot of questions today lol.

I'm in need of replacing the LCD screen on my Acer Aspire 4530-6823 model. One store called Screen Country (http://www.screencountry.com/index.php?section=products&model=ASPIRE%204530-6823&brand=Acer&size=) is selling them for about $82 shipped. I can live with that price.

Can anybody vouch for the quality of their replacement screens or point me towards another company you've had a good experience with? I'm just looking for something that looks nice, I'm not really looking for the very best deal if it means I'll get some cheap knockoff screen that looks like crap or will die in six months.

i'm not sure i'd bother. with i3 laptops around 300 and i5 as low as 400 i'd just buy a new one. an acer is not a high quality product to begin with.

  3. Well I should mention that it didn't just die on me or anything -- its failure was most assuredly my fault. We'll just say it took a bit of a tumble and leave it at that lol

I've considered just getting a new one, but I hardly use it anymore -- I pretty much only made use of it in hotels before but now that I have an iPad, I hardly ever even use it for that, so I don't really want to spend money on a new one that'll just gather dust. I just sort of want to keep it around as a spare, so if I can get it back to working condition for $80 it'd be worth it to me.
