  1. hi, im having a problem with my camcorder. i was recording a clip for a school assignment with my camcorder, but when i finished recording i found out that the disc (DVD-RW VR) was alredy finalized. there was a clip that was in the disc before it was finalized and when i tried converting it in order to edit the whole disc, i only get the clip before it was finalized.

    So to give better understanding
    Clip 1 -> finalized -> clip 2 -> convert to avi -> only received clip 1

    it was as if the 2nd clip didnt exist!

    so please help me, would be much appreciated.

  2. You may want to try ISO Buster. I've had success recovering disks in a similar situation.

    Check out the demo here to at least see if it's possible to recover: http://www.isobuster.com/isobusterdownload.php

    If you finalized before shooting, you are correct, clp 2 does NOT exist.

    Finalization closes (hence the "final") the ability to record on a disc.
    Iow, you weren't recording, just doing a "preview".
    So there's nothing else there to recover.

  4. but what i saw while researching awhile ago, for DVD-RW VR you can still record even after it being finalized. According to some people anyways...
