  1. Dell laptop ad shows a little girl creating a video with her flying in the air. Then why am I having so much trouble learning how to do that? (key framing not the flying in the air)

    Here's a link to the video: http://www.funnycommercialsworld.com/dell-commercial-meet-annie-9111.html

I saw one where a bunch of iphones simulated an orchestra, and one where the phone projected a movie onto a building. Hahaha.

Anyway, "keyframing" is animation, or you might think of it as time-based changes to elements. Where are you getting stuck?

    Example: A Heart Beating

Obtain or create a heart shape as a png with transparent background. On the first frame the heart will be the normal size and shape. Then go to the 30th frame and enlarge the heart or deform it like a bulge.

The keyframes will be on frame one as "normal heart", frame 30 as "beating heart", then back to "normal heart" at frame 60 and so on. So the heart would beat ONCE every 60 frames, get it?

The space between keyframes can also be animated somewhat by adjusting the "style" of the interpolation/blend just like the "styles" of Fades, i.e. "fast, slow, smooth, etc".

The problem is, is that there is never a 10 year old around when you need them!

These commercials are cool -- but the technical part irritates me.

It's just bullshit false advertising, in the end.

Yes, but the Apple stores are bursting from the seams with starry eyed believers. Sad.
