when i play the file there is no sound at all and movie is just 19 gigs, have done this thing 7 times in a row why is it not adding the sound track?

Is there a better more reliable program then this because i just bought a 2k home sound system and it sounds good and i would rather keep the hd audio with my movies.

now if i tell it to re encode to ac3 it does work but if i wanted that crap id stick to dvd's

It says audio is there but when i play the file bd rebuilder made there is no sound. Should i go ahead and burn it to disc see if it works?

Also i set it to bd -25 why did it only use 16 gigs how to make it use more?

There is no more reliable program - period.

How are you testing this encode? Playing on a PC? Burning to disc and playing on a BluRay player? If playing on a PC, what are you using? Do you know for a fact it can handle HD-DTS audio?

For the size difference I would guess that there are multiple audio files and your set up only includes one English one and the others are being dropped.

i'm with jman on this one. the audio is there, both bdrebuilder and mediainfo confirm, you just don't have the hardware/software capable of playing it.

  6. You could uncheck in Settings "Do not convert DTS to AC3" and try again.

If you can then hear the AC3 audio, it would confirm the above. (Just noticed re-reading your first post that AC3 does work for you).

A couple questions: What software player are you using? Do you have DTS decoder (libdts) enabled in ffdshow?

  7. actually after doing this so many times over and over the main file i played didn't have no sound but using the program he suggested i seen it was detecting sound so i burnt it to BD-25 and tested in bluray player and worked fine guess audio was in a different file that is called upon in a player cause the mt2s file had none

That is NOT correct. Glad it worked but since you didn't answer anybody's questions I'm done here. I get tired of trying to help people like you who neither appreciate it nor really want help after all.

    Hello,

So sorry i did not notice all the questions, I was not meaning to ignore you,

i would use anydvd HD for protection

Then i would use bd rebuilder with HD audio keep, after 2 1/2 hours of encoding i would go to the stream directory and test file as i wanted to make sure everything was right. when i clicked on it, it was loaded with windows media player and i just saw the video no sound at all.

after 7 to 8 tries i finally came here to ask when aedipuss told me to run that program on the file i downloaded it and did. When i seen it was claiming the audio was in it i was like wow wtf.

So i just burnt it to disk and it worked fine. So i am guessing it is like you said i do not have the codecc to support playing that type of audio on the system.

I was actually aggravated i redone this movie 7 to 8 times and by using that program i realized i wasted 15 plus hours on a file that prolly was right the first time.

I apologize if i upset you it was not my intention. Thank you for your assistance

I'm glad you use BD-RB(great program) but why would you use WMP to test a Blu-Ray?

  12. I have the same problem, and disc won't play audio on stand-alone bluray player
Here's the file the info from MediaInfo
    Where's the audio?
(funny thing is that there are others files in the same disc that has dts audio. Original disc works fine. Using BD-RB and Anydvd for rip). Never seen something like this.

Yes, WMP is not very good for BD. Try Media Player Classic Home-Cinema found here free. Excellent media player.

longaniza - Just start a new thread the next time. Don't re-open old threads for a "me too" kind of post.

Open your rip in BD Rebuider and check the audio. Post back what you see here. If you see audio crossed out in it, then BD-RB isn't touching your audio. My guess is that you might have DTS Extended audio which BD-RB ignores by default. If you edit the BDREBUILDER.INI file and put this in it:
    DTSX_ENABLE=1
it will enable BD-RB to do something sensible with DTS Extended audio. Your final output is definitely missing audio so we need to figure out why.

Actually if it is X'd out, it is totally removing it from the encode.

That's what I meant to say, but I did a really bad job of phrasing it. Thanks for saying it better.
