MULTI-AVCHD Problem: Why does it keep downgrading my audio? How to softsub?

Whenever I want to author a TS file, the darn thing does everything right, except the audio. It keeps tampering with it, it goes from 328kps ACC MP4A to 128kps A52 (aka AC3) and sounds horrible.

Further, my automatic soft-subs tend to disappear whenever I convert my movie file to mkv.

How do I make soft-subs? Is there a better program for that when I'm finished authoring the TS ''raw''?

Are you creating an AVCHD disc, or a DVD Video disc ?

For DVD Video I prefer AVStoDVD.

I don't have MultiAVCHD on this machine, but there is a property page for audio that gives you pretty good control over the output. I would suggest something this is screwed up. Subtitles are set on the property page for the title (from page, click on file name)

I'm creating files like MKV or TS to watch on my Blu-Ray player, can't be bothered to burn DVDs with my amazing EHDD.

Does AVStoDVD permit me to do high definition videos?

I dug in deep with multi-AVCHD thanks to you, I'll see what the end result is, I hope to God it doesn't give the 128kps audio again, there isn't an ignore audio demixing button sadly, everything I press is a gamble.

Edit: Woah, the subtitles worked perfectly, but multi-AVCHD still downgraded to the sound to a hideous 128kps.

Honestly, what I am doing wrong here, I'll post the screens of my multi-AVCHD interface.

Those settings should get you 640kbps AC3 audio. Post a mediainfo of the m2ts file that MultiAVCHD creates in your AVCHD structure.

I would use the forum link at the bottom of the log to ask the author for help on this one. I can't see that you are doing anything obviously wrong in your set up, or a reason for the program to be doing this.

I've had multiavchd re-encoding ac3 audio when it didnt need to,what i do is delete the multiavchd ini file that keeps the settings,i then set up all the features i want again and it authors without re-encoding the audio.

Hi guys, it seems my audio files weren't entirely compatible with multi-AVCHD, thus, I extracted the audio and converted it from AAC to AC3. I hope this works.
I should probably contact the author and tell him about the bug in his audio encoding.
I also deleted the annoying ini file as well, we'll see what happens.

Oh yeah, everything went perfect, until I played the file, and the quality was horrendous. I'm restarting my computer just in case.

Look at my problem:

The program takes hours, and nothing happens...

I try to install codecs, mark de ffmpeg alternative...

If i have more files, and click on break, the 3th ou 4th video start to use the ffmpeg conversion, but at the end of compilation i lost the audios for the 1th and 2th video...

ANY HELP PLEASE?
