    My friend gave me a video to edit, not realizing that her EBAY Sony camcorder was set to PAL. I've tried the trick of pausing the video and then opening iMovie, but that trick doesn't seem to work on the latest version. I can convert the video to NTSC (I think) but I need it in the computer first.
    I also have an HP laptop if anyone thinks that would work better - but I've never downloaded a video to a Windows computer. Can anyone help?
