Can anyone help me how to change the region on Invision Revolution Ii and / or Revolution IIG dvd players.
They are fitted in our import car and they are set to region1.
We live in Europe and therefor can not play any of our region 2 dvds.
They are PAL capable (in manual Video Display System: HTSC / PAL ).
Hope someone can assist us here!
    Thanks

A few reasons of the problem with this:
    1. time, I do not have the time to copy hundreds of dvds
    2. I tried with a few and they are all protected against copying.

You know the word/term "hack" so you must have been online trying to find an answer to your problem. Had you spent more "time" online you would know how difficult it is to hack many players nowadays...especially portable players.

If you own them, you are allowed to use something like DVDFabDecrypter or AnyDVD to copy your discs. Yes it will take time to copy your favorites(at least) but there is a 95% chance that this will be your ONLY option.

Thanks I will try to copy a few at least she will have some things to watch.

There is however nowadays no reason at all anymore for the different regions.
Films are now released in the Cinemas in the US and Europe at the same time. So the movie companies not have the problem anymore that in the US because of the 6 to 9 months earlier release in the Cinema of their new films the US consumer could buy the dvd with the film before release in the Cinema in Europe.

Why now just not make everything region free? And naturally help people with information how to change the region

You are, as they say in America, "preaching to the choir", but that still does not change your present situation. Regions have been around since DVD was invented and they are not going away.

I am aware that they, even though there is absolutely no reason for regions anymore, they will not go away.
And my problem is still there.
But I am sure that somewere there will be someone with the needed information to solve my problem.
