  1. i have been using claddvd to rip dvd's for some time now. i have never had this problem before, but i cant seem to be able to rip the movie training day. clad states "starting decription" and stays like this for a long time.

anyone out there had any luck getting this movie ripped ??

  3. Yeah I just ripped it no problem with dvd decryptor, I had to play it a little first to authenticate it , but then it ripped no problem. My problem is that I had to adjust the audio synch by -176000 milaseconds to get it to synch up with the video.

  4. When using cladDVD, make sure you're NOT using the old v2.0. It's too old, based on old code.

If using clad, make sure it's the new XP version. cladDVD XP v1.3 is the latest.

hey, i just ripped training day and i didn't need to use the audio skew function to get the audio in sync.

are you perhaps using the new versions of dvd2avi....some people say that's been giving them audio sync problems. have you checked out your entire rip, people have also been saying it progresively gets more outta sync as the movie goes on.
