    A Paragraph:
    VCD and DVD Disc Media
Pulsent’s technology can also have a significant impact on video storage in VCD and DVD disc media. For example, in China, two-hour movies on Super Video CD (SVCD) require multiple discs, increasing the cost of SVCD players and also causing significant inconvenience to the consumer. With Pulsent’s compression technology, a complete movie could fit on a single disc. Similarly, DVR designs could include a Pulsent codec to quadruple the amount of video their customers could write on a single disc.

    Some Problems:

    ASIC Chip
    and Pulsent’s codec

If its only installing a software with a codec and to have a 2 SVCD in one it would be excelent.

When it will be ready too. Will a Video at 1100 bitrate with Pulsent Codec with better qualitty than a now mpeg2 at 8000 bitrate still be a MPeg.

Surelly it wont play on current DVD players as current DIVX doent.
