I have tried unsuccessfully to unlock the region code on this DVD player. Below are typical instructions found on the net with my questions in brackets:
    1. Download XV-BP1.iso (ok)
    2. Burn the ISO RMTM0000 to a CD-R or DVD+R (ok)
    3. Put the CD-R into the player (ok)
    4. Press 0 (zero) for multi-region on the remote (here's the first problem - there is no option to do this?)
    5. Press PAUSE on the remote (makes no difference)
    6. Turn off player on the unit NOT the remote
    Can anyone help?

    It could be several things.

You say you have the AX-BP1 yet your post refers to an XV-BP1 ISO. The ISO simply may only work on the XV-BP1.

It could be that only AX-BP1s sold in other parts of the world, such as Australia, can be unlocked due to hardware differences with the North American models.

I don't want to give you false hope so please do not latch onto this as 100% for sure the reason why it's not working, but sometimes the hacks leave out critical instructions and won't work without them. For example, perhaps you have to push some button on the remote BEFORE doing step 4. However, it could also be that the instructions are completely correct and if the ISO works then you simply see a menu that you enter 0 into.
