PMB can cut/split avchd files from HD camcorders, but is their any program to join avchd files without rendering/converting? like what Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD does for mpeg file (stream copying)

  3. Use Sony PMB (or any software that comes with the camera) , because they will use the metadata to join filespanned clips , so the joins are seamlesss . Tsmuxer sometimes has glitches in the join sites

If you meant joining different clips (not filespanned clips from a continuous shoot) , with or without simple cut edits, then programs like videoredo, tmpgenc smart renderer, solviegmm video splitter can smart render AVCHD , like Womble does for MPEG2

    1. does PMB join clips?
    2. womble is studio which can edit, and when exports avoid unnecessary rendering, which of the programs you just mentioned are able to edit?
    3. by filespanned i take you mean that my big files are splitted into less than 2 GB files, am i right? if so my files are both filespanned and seperate, all from one camera.

sorry if im so noob by the way
