How do I move the Event PAN/Crop screen to its normal free movement state? See piicture attached. I want it removed from its present position so I can use the program. It got up there because I inadvertently dragged it up there but, now cannot release it.

did you try alt-d d, to reset the layout?

If a floating window gets stuck in the docking area, grab its handle below the close button and drag it from the dock
