Howdy,
What is the best software for BD still captures?
I tried PavTube's Blu-ray Ripper but (1) it would not decode Criterion's Three Colors, (2) with certain titles it had video/synch issues with the video freezing/lagging 10-20 seconds, (3) it had no fine control of where in the title you were (just a coarse slider), and (4) it had no ability to go back and forward one frame at a time (to select the better frame within a section). Other than that it did capture frames at native DB resolutions.
I do use PowerDVD for regular playback, but as we all know it does not capture BD frames.
I do not need to rip, as a matter of fact I do not want to go through the trouble of ripping. All I need is to play the BD off the DB drive itself and capture frames at native BD resolution (1920x1080) with a good amount of control of where that happens and minimum fuss.
Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks!
I tried TMT5 (could not find TMT3 from a reliable source). Did not find the functionality to capture screens. I tried Mpchc and vlc and they do capture screens for regular DVDs, so I suppose they would do so with AnyDVD. However at $86 for AnyDVD I'm not quite sure I'm ready to make that jump
I may go with PavTube's Blu-ray Ripper after all.
