  1. Can anyone please help. If anyone has a hack code for Toshiba Blu ray BDX1200KB player to be able to play multi region i would be forever indebted to you. Causing much misery!.Thanx in advance for any help. Kind regards vin

  4. When you say "multi-region", do you mean for DVDs or BDs? Because some standalone Blu-Ray players can be made region free for DVDs, but *very* few can be made so for Blu-Rays. There are some hacks over there <--.

    At any rate, a great many Blu-Ray discs (perhaps the majority?) are already region-free. Look here:

  6. it's for BD...the BDX1200KB Toshiba player i have will obviously not play region 1 disc (america)...& was just hoping there was a code out there to make this region of disc playable. I know it's not looking likely!...thanx again in advsagain in advance...

    You have no idea how rare this is. This is the first time I've ever heard of changing the firmware unlocking BluRay regions too. Some attempts to replace firmware have bricked various players in the past so do so at your own risk.

    I would strongly suggest to the original poster that if this works that he NEVER update the firmware in his player. Firmware updates have been known to break region free playback.
