AC3 Audio Not Recognized in Machete

Trying to cut up a video with Machete.

Demuxed MKV, Got AVC and AC3 (A_AC3) streams in MP4 container.
Open mp4 in Machete, it doesn't recognize the audio stream.
Anyone know why, or how to get around it so that it does recognize the audio stream?

The mp4 file plays video+audio fine, just not in Machete.

it doesn't claim to support ac3 audio.

you are right. They did list ac3 as supported, but only for the avi container.
No support for ac3 in the mp4 container as of yet, my bad.

I have converted the audio stream to aac instead with eac3to to get around this restriction.
