Hi, I've just bought an LED TV (Sony Bravia KLV-42EX410) which support playing video files from USB. To my dissappointment, it does not support dts audio format for most of my mkv files. It does not show subtitle too.
Is there any solution to this?
Does Sony or any third party program provides a fix, like a firmware upgrade, to the "software or codec inside the tv"??
I have used XMedia Recode to convert the dts to AC3 (which the tv supports), but it takes 3-4 hours to convert a video with my computer. It also removes the the embeded subtitle (despite I select 'Copy' instead of 'Remove'). Any good alternative?
Any software that can 'integrate' a subtitle as part of the picture in the video?? This would be helpful since my tv doesnt play subtitle whether embedded in the video file or as a seperate srt file.
THANKS VERY MUCH..

But if you want hardcode the subs you must reconvert the entire clip, you can use freemake video converter. But I doubt it supports dts audio then.
