how would i turn off the updates for this?? Every time it try"s to install new updates its crashes my system..and frankly im geting fed up with it!!

you really don't want to do that. flash is the most used vector to install malware. the updates are for your own good. i'd be checking for something else wrong if they crash your box, that is highly unusual.

Hmmm..its been going on for months now..my system will just freeze with a loud buzzing noise..when i reboot the flash player updater box appears on screen to update to the latest version..which i always do...im worried that this is going to corrupt or damage my system if it continues.......
I found out to turn off the updates through my firefox browser....
I run regular AV with nod 32 and use malware bytes 2 x weekly so im thinking im pretty secure against malware and virus..
ill manually update and ee what happens -
or do a complete uninstall then download the latest version.
