    Hello there,

Everything works fine with my ffmpegx 0.0.9.y, the only problem I face is that although in preview the greek subs look ok (heiti+ iso 7)
after encoding in the dvd format (i.e audio video ts) the greek subs do not show at all.
The other version of ffmepgx 0.0.9y I had installed , which is the same as this one, had done it.
Unfortunately I uninstalled that somehow from my mac, and this one doesn't!!
    Any ideas??

    Thanks,

Possibility #1: The soft subtitles may be there in the VIDEO_TS/on the DVD, but are turned off. You may have to turn them ON using the remote (set top player), using the Controller (Apple DVD Player), or the app's menu (e.g. VLC).
Possibility #2: Your .srt file may unintentionally contain a character that may be considered as an illegal character for the selected text encoding. If this happened, it should show in the log as an error and it could prevent the building of a VIDEO_TS folder. Usually Jubler can convert correctly between text encodings of text based subtitles, and help cleaning things up.
Possibility #3: You thought your .srt file would be ISO 8859-7, but it is a different text encoding (e.g. utf-8). Like #2, Jubler will be able to fix that, if needed.
