How to deinterlace with xillisoft

Ive been using this program for a bit now but does anyone know how to deinterlace using this thing. Ive noticed in the advanced options you can scroll down and there are two boxes that say the following but dont have drop down menus but you can type in them.


do_interlace_dct
do_interlace_me

maybe i type something in that box next to them?

any help would be greatly apprieciated guys. really stuck here

I changed the thread title. Just xilisoft doesn't say much.

if i remember correctly you need to either type "1" or "true" (without the quotes) next to the one you wish to use.

which one do i want to use and also what does do interlace false true have to do with it?

it's a programmer related thing, true/false, 1/0 are different ways of saying on/off, dct would mean discrete cosine transform and me would mean motion estimation, i would try both and see which one gives you the better results.
