    Am trying to cut up an SVCD into pieces to make chapters for navigation and reburn using Nero.....
    am following guide posted on this site, but when I double click on the 850MB file in TMPGENnc MPG tool cut and join dialog box to evoke the player to start editing, it just hangs...I have PowerDVDinstalled and I also loaded the MPEG-2 codec from Stinky....I can play the SVCD under Power DVD, but Windows Media Player also hangs....this is all under Win XP...
    any suggestions?

    I had the same problems when i was running a p3 600, since then I have upgraded to a p3 1000 and everything works fine. I think its your processor.
