I've discovered DVDFab thanks to this website and I've tried copying individual tv shows- not entire DVDs- to the hard drive to eventually burn onto a "best of" type DVD, like all holidays episodes together. The problem is I'm getting some "stutter" or "hiccups" in the video and I'm not sure if I'm having an issue with the copying/ripping or if the result of the ripping isn't working with Movie Edit Pro 17. I've had MEP17 since long before I discovered the DVDFab and MEP doesn't seem to have any issues with stuff recorded off my DVR even though that too has been captured with a different program. I've tried searching for this issue on this site but I didn't see the combination of DVDFab and MEP17 (or any of the last 4 or 5 MEP releases). Any advice/suggestions that you could provide to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
