I am having some problems with doing blue ray to blue ray. Now here is the problem, I use dvdfab and it only works on a few blue rays, because i don't have internet. Now I rip to my hd with anydvd and try to shrink it with dvdfab and it stops at a certain point and stays there for as long as I let it. I have tried bdrebuilder with transformers 2 and the disc came out fine, but when I watched the movie about 3min. in it turned to a grey screen for 5 min. and when the picture came back the audio was out of wack. I have everything bdrebuilder says i need for it to work and this is what i got. I am putting them on bd25gb. I am running windows 7 ultimate, amd athleon x4 876 unlocked black edition (not sure on the 876 part have to check that when i get home). and 6gs of ram. Is there anything i might be doing wrong or anything else to use that I can use to shrink it to a 25gb???

In the BDrebuilder directory is a file called Inspect.exe, run it and see if you have all the wright settings. I'm not sure that any of the programs you mention are certified to run under Windows 7.

Transformers 2 may have Cinavia protection on it. Only DVDFab can work around this and their workaround is much maligned as it may not be a permanent solution. That is to say that in the future Cinavia protected discs that are backed up today with DVDFab may not play at all in the future (I'm talking about the backups). If you have the original packaging you can confirm this by looking for the Cinavia logo on the box.

Does Transformers 2 use interlaced VC-1 for any extras? Despite the many "You just aren't set up correctly" posts by BDRebuidler enthusiasts the reality is that BDRebuilder still does NOT handle interlaced VC-1 correctly for many people.

It can be tricky to set up BDRebuilder. Have you ever used it successfully for a different disc? If you've used it successfully multiple times then I'd investigate the things I talked about above.

I backed up Transformers 2 as movie only with BDrebuilder on 7/15/11 and it works no problem. I ripped it with AnydvdHD.

Well I have also tried to rip just the main movie with dvdfab after ripping to the hd with anydvd and it still will not shrink it. I have not tried this option with bdrebuilder.

Slayer - BDtoAVCHD does movie only BR backups and is self -contained,requiring no "helper" programs.
For what it's worth,I always had video encode failure with DVDfab,so I don't bother with it anymore.
There's also Ripbot264 but it requires "helper" programs also.
