    Hi guys.

I have about a dozen full Blu-Ray rips on hard drive. I use VLC to watch them. VLC just plays the main movie. It doesn't even give you a menu. I tried Power DVD 10 but it only plays Blu-Ray from optical disc - No hard disk support. What are the options for playing Blu-Ray from harddrive?

    Thanx 4 looking.

Power DVD eliminated BD playback from a disc in later versions. AFAIK, ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre can still do that. VLC or other players can only play the .m2ts files, but not the menus.

  3. I can confirm that as of version 5, ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre still plays blu-rays ripped to HDD with full menu support. In fact, that's the only reason I bought the program.

Can either of you (redwuz or drjtech) confirm that Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre v5 still supports HD-DVD playback? I have version 3 and have been reluctant to upgrade due to this unknown. Thanks.

TMT5 does support payback of HD-DVD from the HD. I'm watching Tremors HD-DVD now.
