I am pretty new to the whole thing of video conversion but i liked the look of it so i went and bought my self and dvd rom drive and got a few dvd to encode. I got a copy of fast and furious and i thought that it would be good to have this in svcd format. i converted the video using DVDx p4 but when i went to play this on my dvd player the sound was jerky and it was pixcelating at times really bad. i know that its not my dvd player because i have other svcds which play without a glitch. can anyone help me? i am using the hitachi dv-315 dvd player. just tell me why the hell it does this and what i can do to fix it any help would be brilliant!!

You should try to look at some of the excellent guides under "DVD RIP" in the menu to the left. They were very helpfull to me, when I first started DVD ripping!
