Background: I have copied the m2ts files from my Sony HD camcorder to external memory device (FAT32 formatted). I have managed to generate subtiles from the m2ts files using the method suggested by great HD65, https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/316229-Export-AVCHD-frame-specific-metadata-to-subtitles
Issue: My BD player Sony BDP-BX57 can play the m2ts files from external memory device via USB. But, I do not see subtitles being displayed though the subtitle file has the same name as m2ts files (with extension .srt) and they exist in the same location as m2ts.
These subtitles have information like recording time stamp and GPS coordinates. They are important for me as I need to know when and where they were recorded.
Has anyone any idea what am I doing wrong? Please suggest me.
