I want to create a XP USB boot drive (freeware) and hoping a member can point me in the direction of the easiest method to achieve this ..or.. maybe send me the files to transfer to a USB drive as I have looked at many ways of doing it ..but.. it all sounds very complicated.

I've got BartPE on a 1 GB bootable thumb-drive. It works great on my desktop and Netbook. Your PC needs to be able to boot from USB device for this to work.

This is not an XP boot disk. It is a DOS boot disk. Not really very useful.
Have used the Ultimate boot cd, which is an actual XP boot cd, for many years and it has been extremely useful. Pretty sure they also have a USB boot version, but I have never tried it as I have no need for that. -
