Hulu plus still has commercials? What a joke

I got a free week on Hulu Plus on my xbox 360 (all xbox live users do for the first week - though I am a gold subscriber I dont' know if its for every live user or just gold members) - they just added the service.

They STILL have commercials on the pay service? What the hell? You're paying them to watch commercials?

For 8.00 a month I'd rather do netflix without the commercials. I'm glad its just a week trial.

I do have two options to still do hulu - I have my pc connected to my hdtv so I can do hulu desktop for the free hulu videos. I also have playon that I could stream with - though I need to renew and I canceled the auto renew so I may let that lapse.

If I really want hulu I may just go back to hulu desktop - I do have a real media center remote with a usb dongle that works with hulu desktop so I may just resort to that. What a rip off. Amazon instant video would be better than that at 8.00 a month or whatever their premium service is that includes free shipping on all purchases.

Edit - though I do see one benefit is I guess amazon instant is not directly streamable to a xbox 360 or ps3. Or have they added a portal for that by now? I know you can stream purchased amazon videos directly with an xbox 360. Is there a portal in windows media center for amazon instant video?
