  1. Ok

I can export the video clip of my .mov to the .mpg (uses the Cleaner 5 EZ thing when you export to save for web option)

Anyway the .mov files are in widescreen format, I am guessing 16:9 ratio. (their movie trailers)

I want to know no matter what setting I set for the Video options, the format gets all messed up and its stretched vertically and never keeps the same aspect ratio.

Also the picture quality of the file drops. I am completely new to Premiere but having fun trying to learn it.

The file works great in Quicktime Pro, but use Quicktime at work so I can not preset the trailers in FullScreen without pro and where I work... I am not going to by Quicktime pro for multiple computers.

So thats why I would like to convert the file over to MPG without loosing any quality and keep the same ratio! So that I can play it in fullscreen mode that way and keep our customers interested while they shop for computers

Any help, advice, URLs are more than welcome, I did a search for multiple keywords for the forum bu can not find what I need to know!

    Thanx

Also when Export to movie it does not allow me to export the audio at the same time.. why? =)

  2. for starters i wouldnt use premere for quality .... the audio thing is one of the copy protection things quicktime does .. you can copy video but not audio ... anyway their is a filter for tmpgenc to let you open .mov files and encode them into mpegs ... http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/4942/svcd.html
