i certainly didn't see this one coming, i could have sworn amd said that the bulldozer cpu's would be am3+ only, that while am3+ boards would support am3 cpu's the inverse would not be true. well, it looks like once again amd will offer the better value:
http://techreport.com/discussions.x/20608
i did some quick checking and the cheapest am3 boards with the chipsets that will support bulldozer can be had for as little as $85, that's actually quite a bargain when you consider how aggressively amd prices their cpu's (amd has said they will be positioning the dual module quad core bulldozer against the core i3 2100, a $120 cpu), so it looks like a bargain hunter should be able to slide into a brand spanking new bulldozer for about $200 (cpu/motherboard).
not bad.

How much Earth will that BullDozer shift?
We await any news, especially regarding video conversions.
Obviously it will take software time to catch up too. Good Prices, if accurateCorned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.
