    I have a portable Sony FX735 DVD player, can I convert it to region free and how would i do so, any help greatly appreciated

    Yeah that's quite the emergency that smacks of desperation!!!
    LOL!!

    Did you check the DVD Hacks section here or GOOGLE ?

    Portable dvd players are notorious for not being hackable & $ONY players are also notorious for not being hackable.

    That's not very good odds.......

    Are these store bought, pressed dvd's or dvdr's ?

    If they are pressed dvd's you may be able to back them up to dvdr's, then the region coding will be removed and then you have to hope the player will convert from PAL to NTSC.
