  1. I've been editing my HD stuff, but it seems once a file has a corruption it wont load well into an editing program.

    I've tried the trial version of VideoReDo, I've tried mpeg2repair and mpeg stream clip. None fix the problem.

    I've no problem in losing the part which is corrupt and even if I edit out that part the clip as a whole wont be working properly (sound loops galore)

    the only way i've found to get rid of the "bad spot" is to cut it out. make a clip up to the spot and then one after. usually 1/2 or 1 second is all that will be missing. if that doesn't do it and the sound is still trashed, there isn't anything else you can do.
