  1. MKVToolNix is great for bebuilding my videos, but every time I'm working on a new video format I need to go find a new demuxer. Does anybody know of any universal demuxers?

  2. Closest thing would be ffmpeg . It's like a "swiss army knife" and supports many video formats . Command line usage

  4. Ok ffmpeg would work, but I don't like using command line tools, so is there a gui out there that utilizes ffmpeg?

  6. There are no ffmpeg gui's for demuxing that I know of. But there are some available that can "copy" streams into other containers

What are you doing that requires demuxing ?
