I'd like to use Burrrn because it's such a small and lightweight program. However, whenever I try to drag and drop a WAV file into the list, nothing happens at all. Am I doing something wrong?

I just tried it and it worked for me. Are you sure it's a 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV file?

It's funny you posted that because I just discovered that my files are all 1 channel mono and they of course need to be 2 channel stereo for CD audio. That's probably why...
Is there a tool that I can use to batch convert all these files at once to two channel stereo? -
Hey,
a bit of time has elapsed since the last post in this thread...
Anyway: You might use foobar2000's "convert" feature. Load the files, activate them, right click, choose "convert" from the context menu, then "...", specify output location, go to "Processing" tab, tick "DSP", choose "convert mono to stereo" from the list on the right, OK everything - and wait a few minutes...

I can't believe what some you guys are saying. Burrrn does absolutely nothing. Windows XP or Windows Vista, I drag and drop a WAV file that Pro Tools has bounced as a 16-bit 44.1kHz Stereo Interleaved WAV file and Burrrn just sits there and does nothing whatsoever.
Same thing if I click the Add button and choose the file. File is on the same disk as the program, I am administrator, this is the latest version 1.14 (as of this writing).
It's junk.
I've installed CDBurnerXP and Droppix (on the XP machine) and they both add and burn these files without a problem.
Maybe you folks have an earlier version, before it was completely broken beyond any semblance of usability. -

I have a friend with a similar problem; Burrrn not being able to work with wave-files.
However, this is only true for wave-files generated by Windows Media Player (10 or something). Wave's exported from Audacity works like a charm. I suspect some kind of Gates-tyranny in the file header on wmp-wav's(?).
As a work around it is possible to open the wmp-waves in Audacity and then export as wave - and these files work too (of course).
So I would think this is as much a micro$oft-flaw as it is a flaw in Burrrn (and yes, there are so many other applications out there but I happen to like Burrrn for its simplicity AND the option to burn audio-cd's directly from compressed formats, FLAC in particular, without having to de-compress and de-code anything manually)
