Well it finally got here to southeastern Michigan. Up to 10" at least through tomorrow with blizzard conditions through much of the day.

Fortunately my office is letting us stay home if we can't make it. I don't think I'll be able to with 7" on the ground by morning.

Who's been impacted so far? Anyone flying doesn't seem to have a shot even if you aren't directly in the line with countless delays and cancellations.

Down in the Southeast US. Hang in there, guys. What's that? A little rain? Oh well, into each life a little rain must fall.

Well we got about half the snow we were expecting but still 6" or so is not nice to deal with. Fortunately my office did close so I don't have to fight this today. Whew......

Oh there is a lot more than 6" at my house!!

    LOL!!

But then i am about 20 minutes east of lake michigan so
And about 15 minutes west of Grand Rapids.

My truck sits more than a foot off the ground, i can crawl under my truck and work on it without a jack, and it's higher than the bottom of my truck, i don't even dare to try and back out of my driveway until my plow guy gets here otherwise i will get stuck in the driveway!!

    LOL!!

Yep, i went outside right after posting and started to shovel from my doorway to my truck and i measured it, 17" deep to my driveway.

We just got done plowing it and when i came in i checked, where i live it was announced we officially got 19" of snow and the areas around me got 17" & 18"!!

After i went outside i was like, i'm not even going to try and move my truck a foot cause it's not gonna move an inch!!
    LOL!!!

My door is two steps up from the driveway, & when i pushed my storm door open it pushed a groove about 6 inches deep in the snow.

We had our first sunny day in something like 10 days AND a heat wave. Daily high was 47 degrees!!! Finally got some snow melt. My area just barely missed that last big storm. Last year we got 7 feet of snow (something like that).

I'm guessing we got around 15", but it's hard to tell with all the drifting. My wife and I spent about an hour shoveling and cleared about half the driveway (but not out to the street). We were ready to go back out and tackle the rest when my brother-in-law called and said he'd be out with his snow-blower, but it would be another hour. We decided to wait.

We only got about 8 inches where I live (about 45 minutes drive south of Tulsa). However tulsa and surrounding areas got around 14 to 20 inches. Record setting snow for Oklahoma.

It's melting nicely today. What sucks is there is supposed to be more on it's way tomorrow night.

    Bummer, no snow here,
Well, lots of snow just no new snow!!

I did see something on the news earlier where some was heading north east over the lower most corner of the state but it did not seem like it was going that far into the state.

On the weather map i saw on the news, it was barely even touching michigan over there.

It did not look like it even crossed the border enough to reach you.

Well another couple of 4"-5" snowings and you'll catch up to what i got the other day
    LOL!!
