Hi,
I've been trying to get this movies on disc for about a week now. The first half of the movie is perfect now, but when trying to Mux a SVCD MPEG2 stream containing audio with another audio track (exactly the same, but different language mp2) after it's done i get the following message from TPMGenc :
Warning 363216 s packets cause buffer underflow.
The MPEG file might cause error when it played.
Is this a problem. Cause i can't check what's wrong with the file. The video and audio (First track/language) play fine using a Software DVD-player. But i can't play/check the second audio stream with that.....
When loading the file in the de-muxer of TMPGenc it does show 1 video and 2 audio streams....
Please help...
Greetz,

Hi,
I've never use TMPG for multiplex 1v+2a. I'e made SVCD with I-Author. The making steps are below.
1. Got to have video(mpv or m2v file from CCE or TMPG) and audios (mp2 files).
2. Cut the movies with BBMPEG by mltiplex them, v+2as and assign the time interval to cut the movies. See the EDIT link at left side of this page.
3. Demultiplex, you would get video and 2 audios separately.
4. Multiplex again with mux of i-Author. You can add 2 Auidos.
5. Follow the steps of making SVCD with I-Author, http://www.geocities.com/bug2kbug/helper/iauthor.htm
Hope these can help you.

PDR:
The stream you muxed (with the "error" message) will work fine .. just burn it in Nero and be on your way. I found I got that message in every version of Nero up to 12h, then it only came intermittently. You'll find if you take a completely compliant SVCD file, then just mux it for the hell of it in TMPGEnc, you'll still get that error ... so just ignore it.
You may also find, if you choose to experiment, that if you just encode as a plain VBR MPEG-2 file in TMPEGEnc 12h, but use the SVCD resolution of 480x480 and 44.1kHz audio, Nero will accept the file as compliant.
Since my Apex accepts 48kHz audio on an MPEG-2 stream, I've taken to encoding my XSVCDs with that audio sample rate, with the intent to move them to DVD when the media become cheap enough. -
Okay,
That's the answer i needed. I figured that much. Just wanted to be sure. The amount of packets that have buffer underflows, is exactly the same as the amount of "frames" in the MP2 streams. So since (after checking) the final file DID indeed contain the audio i thought it should work. I had no player to test it on, so thanks for the help guys.
