I have a bunch of home videos on DVD that I need to copy onto another dvd of friends and family. I have two DVD players on my pc. One burner and the other a player. Is DVDClone the best for this? I would like to just put in blank dvd and other dvd with recorded material and hit copy. Is there a software like this?

    Thanks

And don't go from "drive to drive". Place a copy of each disc on your hard drive FIRST...then burn your extra copies.

Wouldn't be faster and less steps to go from drive to drive? So what you are saying is use DVDShrink or ImageBurn to create a .iso from my dvd and then burn .iso back to blank dvd with ImageBurn? That is the fastest way?

It's probably NOT going to be faster in the long run to do an "on the fly" copy....and that has always been a bad way to make multiple copies. Just create ISO images of the discs with ImgBurn then create/burn your copies....with ImgBurn. And use quality discs like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

Great thanks. Do they make software out there that does burn from drive to drive with one click?

Many are capable of doing "on the fly"....but it SUCKS and screws up a lot. Hasn't that been made clear enough?
Many of them actually create a temporary .ISO image of the disc anyway until the new copy is burned.....so just put the images on your HDD and make your copies. You could have been done by now.

    Hech54 is correct.
On-the-fly is best done on dedicated duplication hardware, or not at all.
You'll end up with more coasters and wasted time/discs.
I use Prassi ONES for automated copying --
it reads the source from Drive A to a temp file, then burns a blank disc in Drive B.

I don't even trust "good" software(like Ones) to make multiple copies.......and I haven't done an "on the fly" copy of anything since my Roxio days.

I am taking everyones advice and making iso files. I have over 100 home videos to do. So it takes time to name every file after it makes the iso. I have a i7 980X 6 core pc and it still takes 10 minutes to 20 minutes to make iso from my full dvd's. After I am done I will have to go back and burn to dvd each iso. Does it take longer to burn then to make ISO?

Reading time on some discs can be really slow. Many of my older DVD Recorder discs(old Ritek discs) are incredibly slow to read.....some barely getting to 2x. Both of my LG burners that I have installed are capable of 16x burning....but I never go above 8x speed for burning.

It's the old addage: You can have good, cheap or fast - pick any two.

Good, Fast but not cheap: Duplicator

Good, Cheap: Imgburn to ISO file, Imgburn to DVDR

    Cheap, Fast: Disc to Disc
    Have a good one,

I have a one-to-three duplicator for tasks such as this - definitely not worth the money for only 100 copies. If you could get your hands on a one to one or a loaner duplicator: Just feed it blanks and masters.
