I'm currently using a trial version of Any DVD HD 6.7.6.0, which allows me to open my Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 and use the normally disabled (for HD) capture button.
My question is this. My trial copy expires tomorrow. I need some more photos for my website. I don't really have the time to do so tonight. Do I HAVE to use the HD version to do this, or can I purchase the non HD version? I cannot afford to buy the HD version, especially when I only need it to enable that capture button and nothing else

I haven't used either AnyDVDHD or PowerDVD 9. However, having read about the use of AnyDVDHD, most people create an image of the disk they are backing up on their computer hard drive so they have unrestricted access to it.
On the other hand, depending on what your source is for the photos you are capturing you should consider that they are probably considered copyrighted and as such you would need permission to display them on your web site. -
Ive had a good relationship with the creators of the movies, I've owned my site for 17 yrs with images and videos and have had no issues. So no worries there.
I don't want to burn the dvd to my computer and open it in something else. I know how to do that without AnyDVD and its really choppy playback which is horrible for screen shots.
If the cheaper normal AnyDVD will enable the screenshot button in PowerDVD 9 for HD movies I can cough up the cash for it. But not if its the HD version. Thats way too expensive for screenshotsLast edited by SOHkat; 8th Jan 2011 at 23:59.
