  1. PLEASE, anyone who can give me an advice on region free dvd"s ? i am looking to purchase blu-ray dvd with internet ready and streaming for Netflix in the US. I would like to do the conversion to region free myself, but i need something simple or easiest to do ----> i am dumb in electronics. I was reading the forum a lot and searching for hakcs too but is realy hard for ME to understand what you are talking about sometimes. You are the experts in this, so can somebody help - recommend. I am in US and most advices are in for region 2 bought dvd's. THANK YOU for any help or advice.

While Blu-Ray discs have region coding in the specs, I don't believe it's used. Region coding is only an issue for DVD playback.

  3. The vast majority of Blu-Ray discs are region coded, and unless you get yourself a player that can play all regions (very rare), you won't be able to play discs from outside your region. You can check the reviews at a site like DVDBeaver and see the ones that are region coded:

As for creating region-free DVDs, just the act of decrypting them to the hard drive using programs like DVD Decrypter or DVDFab HD Decrypter makes them all-region, pretty much the same thing.
