Beste vrienden,

I will try to explice everything in English, I think it's that that you asked me ! The problem is - I have a WD multimediaplayer allready for a while and since a few weeks , I have no more audio ! I was thinking, it happens the moment I was order a new "digirecorder" (available in Belgium !), but anyway it's not the same connection and in the shop I've buyd the recorder, the mediaplayer works !? But not at home, and it has working in the past - so I don't know what's happening, but without any sound, it's a little bit difficult to follow my movies and suddenly to hear my music !
If anyone can help me, thanks a lot,
greetings,

You do not say what types of media files. (MKV?) Search the WD TV community forums. They have many things to say about audio problems. -
Do tell how you connect the equipment. Does it all go through a receiver? Is it all connected by HDMI? Did you check the audio settings in the WD TV menu to match your setup?

A recent firmware update from Western Digital killed the audio for some people. I think the solution is to perform a hard reset, revert to the factory default settings via the menus, then adjust the options for your particular setup.

Dear friends,
I know now it isn't the multimediaplayer, but the TV! And why I know this, I have try to an other television and there I have no problems ! Because those both televisions are recent (not yet 1 year) , I don't know what to do, or maybe I do have asking a technicien to come... What do you think ? -
Try switching to a different input on the TV. Or it's possible the TV is set up to take video from one input and audio from another. You didn't specify the connection type (HDMI, DVI, component, s-video, composite) so it's hard to speculate further.

Hello Jagabo,
I'm sorry but it's with a HDMI connection - so normally it's doesn't may give any problem, or what's your opinion? -
HDMI usually carries both video and audio. I'm not sure about the WD players but it's possible for a player to be set up to output video over one connection and audio to another. It's also possible for a TV to take video from one connection and audio from another.
