What would be the best format for streaming a movie to friends, .asf, .rm, or .mov? I'm talking about a full complete movie, not clips so the quality should be the best at the lowest bitrates.
Would cable modem be fast enough to upload streams at high quility?(I have know clue on how to figure bitrates to to upload speed.) I can get up to 30 kbytes a second on my connection. Would this be enough for streaming a somewhat good quality movie? Or should I resort to have them download half the movie before they start watching it?
Basicaly I want to know everything about bitrates and connections. Also could someone give me a formula for what I want?
Thanks in advance!
