    The Canon HF M31 AGC control is disabled on my menus (it is greyed out). I've tried different settings (like resolution) to get it to work. Any ideas?

    Is your "mode switch" (the little slider above the start/stop button) set to automatic (the camera icon to the left) or manual ("M" to the right)? I think you have to be in manual mode to adjust that (along with a lot of other things). That's the way it is on my M30, and they're basically the same. Though I have to admit that I haven't tried adjusting the AGC limit.

    I'm using Manual, so still no solution. I'll try different frame rates next. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
