Hi all.
I have downloaded some VCDs from a binary multimedia newsgroup and they all play fine,
except when I play them in my standalone DVD player which will play anything you put in it.
In the standalone, it all plays fine until I fast forward, then it never
regains normality, instead, it just skips, the sound jumps, and will not
play properly.
I find this strange though as I have encoded lots of VCDs myself using TMPEG and they all play 100% on my standalone and I never see a problem whenever I fast forward.
So, this would lead me to think that some of the VCDs downloaded have not been encoded correctly?
Has anybody else ever noticed this after downloading from the newsgroups?
Has anybody any thoughts on this or is it just a case that the encoders are
doing something wrong?
Thanks in adavcne for any help.
Graham
