  1. I'm doing a video project for university. I ripped GLEE episodes from Bluray to .mkv files (720p) and then used mkvtoolnix to cut the appropriate passages. Now I have a bunch of small .mkv video files with .dts audio tracks and .h264 video.

I've tried XMedia Recode, mkv2avi and RipBot to try and get some uncompressed MPEG video Sony Vegas could easily recognize and edit, but I'm having no luck.

What's the best way to convert these small clips, while preserving the quality as much as possible, and get them in Vegas to collage them in the project?

    Thank you

    What is uncompressed mpeg?

Doesn't latest vegas support avchd/m2ts? Then convert to it, it might be possible without reconversion using multiavhcd etc.

it's most likely the dts audio vegas won't accept. try pcm wav or ac-3 if possible.
