Temporary video recovery. Help, please :-)

Hello to everyone, I'm new here

I have a very distressing problem. Today I used my phone to capture something on video, but forgot to save the file!

I used a recovery program to try and recover the video. All I got were two files named XAUDIO.TMP and XVISUAL.TMP . XAUDIO is 984KB and XVISUAL is 37,4MB.

I already tried using VLC to open them, but nothing happens.

My phone usually saves video in 3GP. I have other clips from my phone that might be useful.

This footage is very dear to me and I would REALLY appreciate any help Thanks in advance

Never heard of those files. Presumably those are the names created by the recovery program.
Look at them in a HEX viewer to see what's inside. You may want to compare them (in the hex viewer) to a known good file.

Those are the names of the files. The recovery program (Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery) showed all other files with their real names, so I suppose that these are real as well, just temporary ones that the phone later converts (when I save them). The phone names them like this: MOV00XX.3GP

I will try the comparing them using a hex viewer and will write after that

Based on the sizes, and names, these (if you're lucky) could be the intact elementary streams waiting to be
multiplexed to the container. You should also look at a good file in MediaInfo to see what it says about the
audio and video formats.

Recuva is free, and may pull them off if Stellar doesn't.
