    I have been using HandBrake with success to prepare video files for my ITouch. However, it can take the better part of a day to encode a video for transfer to my Itouch. Are there other programs that are just as reliable for the Itouch that are faster?

    Super is WAY faster than Handbrake, and WAY more fun to use.. with the same or even better results

    It all depends on what you are converting from and destination. Current Handbreak targets Apple devices with mp4 and h.264 (x264) in MKV wrapper. I mostly use the latter with satisfation.
