  1. I want to RIP the audio.. not capture it... ive already tried running a audio cable from the soundcard OUTPUT to the INPUT and that had too much line noise)... i want to rip it like you would the video file... is there a ripping tool tha can be used for this or what? any help is greatly appreciated...

  2. Do you mean ripping audio from a normal DVD or a DVD AUDIO disc?

  3. Its a regular video dvd... the video portion of it conssts of a black screen...

  4. Try ripping the DVD using Smart Ripper or something similar, then frameserve it using DVD2AVI. When you save the project, it'll create a d2v file and also extract the audio into a wav file. You could probably convert that into an mp3.

    Depending on what mp3 encoder you're using, you might have to downsample the audio from 48khz to 44.1khz. There's an option for that in the audio menu in dvd2avi.
