Several eBay vendors are selling this item:

which seems to promise a lot for this price -- TBC + proc amp features, at the very least.
Some of the listings mention it as a "TBC-1", from a company called Ambery. It bears a suspicious resemblance to the AVT-8710 ? A knockoff ? (Surely it can't be related to the Ampex TBC-1 from 1977 ?)
Does anyone have first-hand knowledge of this thing, and whether it's any good ?

It's a CTB-100 (same as AVT-8710, but for PAL countries (but it is PAL and NTSC compatible)).
