    This reminds me of my first trip to Thailand with friends....I took a bet that I could eat some of the specimens on offer. If I remember right I tried deep fried lizard, fried crickets and larvae. The only thing I refused to eat was the water beetle which looked exactly like a large cockroach. There was no way in hell that I was gonna try biting off its head and sucking out the innards (EWWWW!!!!!)
    Funny thing is that despite its repulsive look, cticket actually tastes damn good. Its a rich source of protein and a convienient + healthy fast food snack........ Now you've got me thinking about food, I'm gonna have to go and lift the floorboards to see what other delectable treats are lying in wait.......
